Aprilia Tuono 457 Bike: Italian two-wheeler manufacturer Aprilia has launched its new motorcycle Tuono 457 in the Indian market. This bike is the cheapest bike of Aprilia and its starting price has been kept at Rs 3.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Its price is Rs 25,000 less than its sibling model RS 457. Some time ago, this bike was displayed at the EICMA Motor Show held in Milan, Italy, and now it has been launched in the Indian market.

Tuono 457 Engine
Aprilia claims that the Tuono 457 is a sport-naked bike that will attract the youth. Some special mechanical changes have been made in this bike, which make it different from the RS 457. It has a parallel-twin engine with a capacity of 457cc, which generates 47.6hp of power and 43.5Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and also has a slip-and-assist clutch. Apart from this, a bi-directional quickshifter is available as an optional accessory.
Features of Tuono 4571
The frame, suspension, brakes and electronics components of the Tuono 457 are similar to the RS 457, but its look is completely different. The bike has a new LED headlight and two sharp daytime running lights, which make it even more attractive. The fuel tank capacity is 12.7 liters, which is slightly smaller than the 13-liter fuel tank of the RS 457. However, the weight of both the bikes is the same, i.e. 175 kg.
Two color options
The gearing of this bike is also slightly shorter, which makes it suitable for fast riding. The Tuono 457 is available in two color options—Red/Black and White/Grey. The company has also started its booking, which can be done through authorized dealerships or the official website. Along with this, its delivery is expected to start from March. In the market, it will compete with bikes like Yamaha MT-03, KTM 390 Duke, which are very popular in the sports-naked bike category.
